Learning Experiences and Goals
The teachers at Angels in Joyland will use a variety of activities to promote the individual, social and emotional goals and cognitive development of each child with a Christian setting. Some of these include children’s literature, Bible stories, indoor and outdoor play, art, music, movement, and creative dramatics. Each day will include a short chapel service where a child will learn how the Bible effects their life and carries over into their friendships and relationships today! We will sing, work on memorizing Scripture verses, use puppets and object lessons to present the Bible in a variety of ways. Throughout the day children will learn to pray before meals, and pray when they are sick or have a problem.
We will teach children to express their feelings while at the same time understand and respect the feelings of others. We will work on problem-solving techniques and develop cooperation among each other. Angels in Joyland recognizes the importance of giving your child the best start that’s possible and with that in mind we will work to help your child with language development, listening skills, letter recognition, letter sounds, reading and writing, fostering number and math awareness, and perceptual skills.

Outdoor Play
Children will love our outdoor play area. It is 1000 square feet of space to run and play! Children will be encouraged to run, jump, swing, and slide until their heart is content! Imaginations go wild as children dig and explore in our large gravel pile. There are a variety of pint-sized bikes and cars just waiting for their little legs to peddle them around the playgrounds.
Safety and Cleanliness
Safety and cleanliness prevail as a priority at our center. We have taken every precaution to insure that your child is safe while in our care. Toys, books, floors are sanitized and cleaning is a must! While we are not fancy, we will be kept clean!
